平城旧跡で行われている平城遷都１３００年祭「花と緑のフェア」へ

行ってきました。

朱雀門は多くの人で賑わっています。

こちらが第一大極殿。

建設に９年かけてやっと完成したそうです。

そこから見た朱雀門。

いつもと違う景色がそこにはありました。

中に入ってみると立派な高御座がありました。

南の天井壁には朱雀。

北には玄武、東には青龍、西には白虎と四神が描かれていました。

天井には、蓮の花の絵がありました。

一枚一枚丁寧に手作業で描かれたものだそうです。

ゴールデンウィーク中は多くのイベントが予定されているようです。

Yesterday I visited “Heijo-Kyuseki”.

“The commemorative events for the  1300 th anniversary of Nara

Heijokyo capital  ~flower and green fair~” has been held there.

I will show you some pictures of it.

First picture:  “Suzaku gate”

                              Many people visited there.

Second picture: “Daikokuden”

                                It took 9 years to complete for the construction.

Third picture: “Suzaku gate” from “Daigokuden”

                            This very good view was unlike any I’ve seen before.

Fourth picture: “Takamikura” in Daigokuden

                                It is the seat for emperor.

Fifth picture:  4 painting animals on the wall

                            North-“Genbu”  ,  Eest-blue dragon,

                            South – “Suzaku”  ,   West-white tiger.

Sixth picture:  There are many lotus flower on the celling.

                            The craftman painted them by hand.

Various events will be held there in Golden week.
